Gynaecological Cancers include Cancers of the Ovary, Fallopian tube, Peritoneum, Endometrium (womb), Cervix, Vulva and Vagina.  Information about the different types of cancers and links to support organisations can be found in the ‘medical conditions’ section of the NWG website  If a Gynaecological Cancer is suspected or has been diagnosed, it is important to see a sub-specialty accredited Gynaecological Oncologist as they will have received the appropriate training and experience to allow the best possible care for all patients.

In addition Gynaecological Cancer specialists will treat Cervical and Vulval pre-cancers when an abnormal cervical smear has been reported, or pre-cancerous changes have been found on the Vulva.
