Ejaculation Problems

What are these? Ejaculation refers to the process whereby semen (sperm) is released from the penis at the time of the male orgasm. It is brought about by a combination of mental and physical stimulation.

Endometriosis

What causes endometriosis? In endometriosis the tissue that normally lines the inside of the womb passes to and starts to grow on the outside.

Excessive Hair Growth

What is it? Excessive hair growth (also known as hirsutism) is the inappropriate growth of facial and other body hair in women, often in a male-type pattern. What constitutes excessive hair growth differs markedly between different women and there are no simple ways of assessing this.

Gynaecological Cancers

These include: Endometrial (Womb) cancer Ovarian, fallopian tube or peritoneal cancer Cervical cancer Vulval or vaginal cancer Endometrial cancer Affects approximately 5500 women every year in the UK.

What are heavy periods? Heavy menstrual periods are a common problem affecting 1 in 5 women at some time in their lives. Although it rarely causes serious illness, heavy periods can lead to considerable disruption in a woman’s life affecting her social, emotional and physical well being.
